After 3,546 players purchased for Day 1a of Event #37: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold’em on June 17, an even larger turnout of 4,429 players chose Day 1b to begin their quest for a World Series of Poker 2022 bracelet here at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. Only 963 of those players who started Day 1 with high hopes made it to Day 2.
Dozens of stellar names were purchased as late registrations opened. The lure of a seven-figure first prize was enough to attract such luminaries as JJ Liu, Kenny Hallaertfour-time WSOP bracelet winner Robert Mizrachirecent bracelet winner Daniel Weinmanand Kathy Liebert at the Millionaire Maker tables.

The tastes of Christopher Gu, Alain Bauer, Nada Siddik and the first Wynn Millions champion Andre Moreno not only did they punch their Day 2 tickets, but they did so with stacks of chips which then go to the top of the chip count.
Of course, there were more players who got eliminated on Day 1b than players who made it to Day 2. That was the end of the road for Mustapha Kanit, Shaun Deb, Guillaume Diazand Matt Berkey among others.
Day 2 begins at 10:00 a.m. sharp local time on June 19 and sees the survivors from Days 1a and 1b merge to create a field of over 2,200. Day 2 blinds start at level 12, which means that players pay 1,000/2,500 and a big blind bet of 2,500. The plan is to complete ten more levels, with a 60-minute break after level 17, which is around 7:00 p.m. local time.
