Jess Glynne hints at music return as she returns to social media after three-year hiatus


ess Glynne has hinted that new music is on the way after returning to social media after a three-year hiatus.

The London-born singer, 32, took to Instagram to share her take on Beyonce’s Break My Soul.

Rather than just a cover, she tweaked some of the lyrics to give fans a taste of what she’s been up to and teased “everything great takes time.”

“Did a few cuts, had a few setbacks, girl had to realign. Thought I was going to react but I’m back on track, everything big takes time,” he can be heard singing.

In her eight years with Atlantic, Glynne has had seven UK number one singles – a record for a British woman.

Her 2015 debut album I Cry When I Laugh topped the charts and went four times platinum. His follow-up Always In Between also topped the charts in 2018.

Glynne’s most recent hit was the festive single This Christmas, which peaked at number three in 2020.
