Sketch Creator Sabinus Apologizes For His Absence From Paid Event At Anambra Poly

Sketch maker Chukwuemeka Emmanuel, also known as Sabinus, has apologized for not showing up at an event organized by a show promoter named Johnbosco Ezeuchegbu aka Crazylegs, for students of the Federal Polytechnic of Oko, Anambra State.

Sabinus, who previously announced the event on social media, failed to show up at the venue on Thursday, prompting angry students to tear down the venue.

Crazylegs, who called out the skit maker on Instagram on Friday, said Sabinus scammed him after he was paid two million naira to perform.

The event organizer wrote: “Please help guys. Tag any blog for me. Sabinus had ripped me off. He didn’t show up on my show I paid him for.

Sharing the payment receipts, Crazylegs added: “Proof of payments and thefts. Please all of you should come to my resume. Fans are destroying my properties.

Apologizing in an Instagram Story, Sabinus claimed his health issues kept him from attending the event.

The comedian said, “Hello my Oko people. I know how to say una dey vex for me. Abeg doesn’t do vex. I was supposed to come to Oko yesterday for the show with Crazylegs.

“Something happened. My health was so bad. I just avoided all that. I was just afraid that I wouldn’t break down for the road.

He promised to come for the event before the first week of December or refund the money if Crazylegs asks.
