Social Status and Nike collaborate on their “Free Lunch” project, launching “Strawberry Milk” Nike Dunks. The Nike Dunks may be at the peak of their popularity, and good news for sneakerheads, other versions of the iconic shoe are expected to be released soon. This time, Nike is collaborating with Social Status, an independent, high-end street fashion and footwear store, creating a new Nike Dunk concept and colourway, inspired by the “free lunch” programs offered in public schools. Social Status owner James Whitner had previously escaped inspiration from collaboration in a Instagram post who mentioned the upcoming concept.

Two Nike Dunk colorways are slated for release in the Social Status x Nike “Free Lunch” project, along with its aptly named latest shoe, “Strawberry Milk”. Details on the new Mid Dunk include Light Soft Pink and Shy Pink variations that make up much of the shoe’s exterior color, with a beige colored leather base and brown sole. Further hints of pink and light blue complement the “Strawberry Milk” colourway, while materials such as suede and velvet harmonize with the leather throughout the shoe.
“Strawberry Milk”, the latest Nike Dunks from the Social Status x Nike “Free Lunch” project, will be released on October 15 on socialstatuspgh.com, for the expected retail price of $ 130.
